Conveyor Systems for Roll Containers and Roll Carts
Home / Material Handling / Conveyor Systems for Roll Containers and Roll Carts
Carts are widely used in general warehouse logistics and in the food wholesale and retail sectors to manually pick goods or prepare them for manual distribution.
The ability to easily move large quantities of goods manually “on their own wheels”—that is, without additional technical aids such as hand pallet trucks, forklifts, or similar equipment—is a significant advantage in many applications.
To date, the following types of carts have been transported on our conveyor systems:
- Standard rolling container (720x810 mm) with various configurations
- (Stackable, with 2-, 3-, or 4-sided mesh walls)
- Insulated roll containers (e.g., TKT - 735x828 mm)
- Picking carts in various sizes
- Rung wagons in various sizes
Our trolley conveyor systems are designed as standard for empty carts weighing up to 100 kg and for loaded carts weighing up to 300 kg (optionally up to 500 kg).
For special applications
, we also offer systems for carts with a capacity of up to 1,000 kg.
It is also suitable for special environmental conditions such as “hygiene areas” and “outdoors,” or “at -24° in a deep-freeze warehouse,” we offer suitable technology. The individual needs of the future operator of our cart conveyor systems form the basis of our designs.
We use many of our standard components in combination with modified or custom-made elements. We can professionally address all challenges in in-plant cart logistics using the following components:
- Batch/Cycle Chain Conveyors, Pull/Cycle Belt Conveyors
- Rotary table, swivel table, corner transfer unit, transfer cart
- Chain conveyors, vertical conveyors, column lifts
- Floor-level loading/unloading conveyors with or without an industrial truck
- Horizontal empty-car storage, vertical empty-car storage
- Control cabinet with PLC control, operator terminal, touch panel with visualization, and interface to a higher-level or downstream system
The operator’s environment often presents additional challenges, which we address by procuring and conceptually integrating components such as the following:
Personal Protection:
Machine safety fence, high-speed door, safety light curtain, telescopic sliding door
Fire Safety:
Fire door, conveyor system enclosure, emergency power supply (BEV)
Climate Protection:
Trolley Lock, Freezer Room Door, Air Curtain, Sectional Door
