In February 2024, SCHÖNAU Förderanlagen und Aufzüge GmbH was certified for the first time as a WHG-certified company in accordance with the Water Resources Act. In March 2026, following the required refresher training, the company underwent its scheduled audit, which it successfully passed.

This confirms the company’s certification as a WHG-certified specialist firm for another two years.

WHG certification serves as a crucial proof of qualification, particularly for the rehabilitation of hydraulic systems, the maintenance of existing systems, and special applications such as the anchoring of coated floors in material handling systems. In many cases, this certification is a prerequisite for performing such work.

As one of the few certified WHG-accredited companies specializing in conveyor and elevator technology in northern Germany, SCHÖNAU thus underscores its technical expertise and reliability.

As part of the recertification process, the relevant employees receive regular internal training to ensure ongoing compliance with all requirements
