Reusable Container Sorting System for the GFGH.
Customer Description
Quandt Getränkevertriebs GmbH (formerly part of the Nordmann Group) now distributes and markets high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as the Geesthacht branch of Splendid Drinks G+L Nordic GmbH. Its distinguished client base, comprising food retailers and the hospitality industry, values professional logistics and high product quality. The company offers a diverse range of products and services to meet a variety of customer needs.
Project Description
In connection with the sale of reusable beverage containers, the collection and return of empty reusable beverage containers poses a challenge for all market participants and can play a significant role in a company’s economic success. To implement a customer-friendly return system for empties (pallets and roll cages with a high degree of mixed contents), a flexible, technically simple solution—appropriate for the work environment—was provided as a tool to optimize manual sorting, taking into account the various load carriers, crate types, and product thicknesses.
