ELO-FROST GmbH & Co. KG is a subsidiary of the Langförden-Oldenburg Wholesale Farmers’ Market that processes strictly controlled fruits and vegetables from its own farms and those of local farmers. Using modern, high-performance production facilities, the company transforms fresh vegetables from the region into a wide range of high-quality frozen products.

Project Description

As part of a modernization of the production facilities, more efficient packaging became necessary. The resulting restructuring of this area—which included the option of a direct connection to the existing frozen-food warehouses—was achieved by pre-grouping small packages in high volumes using a single palletizing robot. Cartons of various sizes from two production lines are packed continuously onto EURO or INDU pallets using various packing patterns, then automatically wrapped and labeled.
