After more than ten years of intensive use, it was time to replace our CO₂ laser cutting machine with a new, state-of-the-art model.
The system’s advanced age and the steadily rising maintenance and repair costs made this step unavoidable. In addition, there was a growing risk of not receiving prompt support in the event of a breakdown, as LVD now has only two (!) trained technicians left for the outdated CO₂ lasers. This technology has not been manufactured for years and no longer meets today’s economic requirements.
Thanks to significantly reduced downtime—achieved, among other things, through the use of a changeover table—faster cutting speeds, and lower energy and maintenance costs, the system will quickly prove to be a sound economic investment and thus represents another investment in the future of our company.
