“ERP Update Complete – SCHÖNAU Focuses on Digital Efficiency”?

After more than two years of intensive preliminary planning, SCHÖNAU Förderanlagen und Aufzüge GmbH has successfully modernized its central ERP system, Orderbase. The new system went live in early May 2025.

Since 2006, Orderbase has managed all core business processes—from design, manufacturing, and assembly to service, contract management, and commercial processing. The decision to retain the proven system and comprehensively update it ensures access to all historical data while avoiding the typical risks associated with a complete system change.

This project represents the largest internal restructuring in recent years—and is highly significant for efficiency, quality, and future viability. Its implementation required extensive customizations and thorough testing, which were carried out in several phases in collaboration with our specialist departments.

We are currently in an intensive optimization and stabilization phase, during which we are further refining processes and fine-tuning functions. This final stage takes time and can sometimes be stressful—but it is necessary to ensure that the new system reaches its full potential in the long term.
