Mit four branch offices isit the second-largest BÄKO in Germany in terms of revenue and serves with approx. 350 employeesn more than 800 member bakeries.

Project Description

At the BÄKO branch in Reutlingen, the items returned by customersn retail roll containers and reusable beverage crates are separated from the waste they contain at the truck unloading ramp and then sorted on-site into appropriate storage systems. Empty beverage crates are placed directly by the drivers into a flow rack in front ofsortedso that the warehouse worker can easily and centrally perform the final, type-specific palletizing at the appropriate time. The roll containers are handed over by the driver, nested together, to a conveyor system that starts immediately at the ramp. The roll containers are temporarily stored along a building wall and automatically transported in pairs via a vertical conveyor to the starting point of the picking area as needed for manual retrieval.
