Project Description

As part of the renovation of an expanded production building, raw materials are being stored on the second floor for production , which are supplied from the preceding chlorinationprocess and transported into the building from the outside via forklift in special bulk containers.

To that end a freight elevator was installed in a steel frameframe in front of the building. The structure is weatherproof and clad with ISO panels cladding and is technically connected to the facade integrated. The existing appearance of the facade was taken into account when selecting materials.

The specific spatial constraints, fire safety requirements, and different types of material feeding on both floors ultimately led to a custom-designed solution that ensures the mills on the second floor are conveniently supplied.
