The Riegelein Confiserie GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1883 in Cadolzburg, is a traditional family-owned company that manufactures high-quality chocolates and confections here and at six other production facilities spread across three countries manufactures high-quality chocolate and confectionery products and distributes them worldwide. The product range includes pralines, chocolate bars, figurines, and seasonal products. Project Description

An existing vertical conveyor system had to be replaced at the same location because it no longer met the operator’s requirements in many respects (safety, functionality, fire protection, transport capacity). Using the existing wall shaft—which was only slightly modified—a vertical conveyor designed specifically for the available space was installed and supplemented with appropriate conveyor sections, with a focus on maximizing buffer capacity on both levels.
