Solutions for the vertical transport of pallets.
The pallet transport between work areas on different levels can be accomplished using various aids. Depending on the task at hand, the following are used, for example:
System:
- Forklift
- Lifting platforms
- Elevators
- automatic conveyor systems
Advantages:
- Flexibility, low upfront costs
- Simple technology, high load capacity
- High level of safety for people and animals
- High transport capacity, high safety, separation of work areas
Disadvantages:
- Strong performance, risk of crash!
- Low transportation costs, high employee retention, risk of falling!
- Acquisition Costs, Employee Retention
- Capital costs, more complex technology, restrictions on goods transported
Basic Types of Automatic Pallet Conveyor Systems for Vertical Transport
Our systems can efficiently manage the flow of goods between two or more floors. The following key factors are taken into account when designing the system to be used:
- Transportation Services
- Direction of transport
- Shipping Times
- Space constraints
- System Memory Requirements
Type 1
, "unidirectional reversing operation"
A simple conveyor system with medium transport capacity and a single main transport direction. The main transport direction can be changed periodically. Traffic-light controlled. Loading a pallet when the system is empty determines the transport direction. The C-configuration is shown here; alternatively, a Z-configuration is possible.
Features:
- Ground-level pallet handling tasks
- 2 pallet storage spaces per floor
- Personal Safety Facility, Including High-Speed Door
- Fully Enclosed Vertical Conveyor
- Optical position and direction indicator
- Automation Control & Control Cabinet
- Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning
Surcharge per stop:
- Extension of the vertical conveyor by approximately 3 meters in conveying height
- Pallet Loading
- 2 additional pallet storage spaces
- High-Speed Door
- increased assembly and installation costs
Type 2
, "bidirectional duplex operation"
A simple conveyor system with high transport capacity in both directions. The loading and unloading points are located opposite each other at each stop.
Features:
- Ground-level pallet handling
- 4 pallet storage spaces per floor
- Security facility, including 2 high-speed gates, light barriers, and a fence
- Fully Enclosed Vertical Conveyor
- Control Panel
- Automation Control & Control Cabinet
- Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning
Surcharge per stop:
- Extension of the vertical conveyor by approximately 3 meters in conveying height
- Pallet Loading
- 4 additional pallet storage spaces
- 2 High-Speed Doors
- increased assembly and installation costs
Type 3
, "bidirectional duplex operation"
High-performance conveyor system with high transport capacity in both directions. Using transfer cars, the pallets are shifted behind the vertical conveyor so that the loading and unloading points on each floor are side by side. Accumulation roller conveyors provide cost-effective system storage capacity.
Features:
- Ground-level pallet handling
- 20 pallet storage spaces per floor
- 2 Transfer Carts
- Security facility, including 2 high-speed gates, light barriers, and a fence
- Fully Enclosed Vertical Conveyor
- Control Panel
- Automation Control & Control Cabinet
- Delivery, Installation, and Commissioning
Surcharge per stop:
- Extension of the vertical conveyor by approximately 3 meters in conveying height
- Palletizing Tasks
- 20 additional pallet storage spaces
- 2 High-Speed Doors
- increased assembly and installation costs
VGK2 Freight Elevator
