To mark the company’s 75th anniversary, the moment finally arrived on June 7, 2024, and the passenger ship “Hamburger Deern” set sail from the Überseebrücke toward Wedel, passing the beautiful banks of the Elbe in Blankenese, all the way to the container terminals—a perfect blend of nature, massive ships, and nostalgic vessels.

On board: employees, retirees, trusted suppliers, and close partners of our company.

Everyone was looking forward to a four-hour harbor cruise with music, food, and drinks—some were even so excited that they were jumping up and down with joy on board 😊

An accordionist provided the Hanseatic-North German musical accompaniment, and yet, in addition to the delicious and lavish buffet, there was still plenty of time and space for lively conversations about the past, the present, and the future.

All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon that came to a cozy close at the pier.
